Man: Excuse me. Can you tell me where the …. is please?
Woman: Yes, of course. Go straight on along William street. Take the first right and go to the end of the road, turn left and go along South street, past the bank, on your left. It’s on your right on the corner opposite the supermarket.
Man: Could you repeat that please?
Woman:Yes, go straight along William street. Take the first right, then turn left at the end of the road. Go along South street. It’s on your right opposite the supermarket. It’s on the corner.
Man: Great. Thanks very much.
Woman: You’re welcome.

MONDHATOD, de már utalás történt az igére, hiszen past mozgásra utal, az ige már ott van, ez olyan mint a felsorolás. De nem hibás, ha még egyszer kimondod.

Kedves Noémi!
Go along South street, past the bank…
Mondhatom simán hogy past the bank, vagy csak így go past the bank (és csak azért nem lett ismét használva a go mert az angol hozzáérti a mondat elején levőhöz)?
Válaszod előre is köszönöm: Ági
